In Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a consortium of electric utilities and energy efficiency service providers offer instant coupons or special, retail based pricing for ENERGY STAR® qualified lighting and mail-in rebates or in store discounts on ENERGY STAR qualified appliances. To be ENERGY STAR qualified, products must be more energy efficient than standard products, while offering superior features and quality.
Depending on where you live, discounts may be available on ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent light bulbs, outdoor and indoor lighting fixtures, room air cleaners, refrigerators and freezers, advanced power strips, and desktop computers and monitors.
